I am an amateur photographer with only a little bit of training, but I love to do it as hobby. It is a humbling undertaking the more you learn and the more you practice, but I think that is what is wonderful about it. To be great requires incredible patience and practice. Patience is not generally my style, so I try to shoot within my capabilities and use it for story telling. When I am on a hike I try to shoot quickly so that my hobby doesn’t break up the flow of the hike for everyone else. This results in a lot of out of focus or boring shots, but thank dog for digital photography.

Every now and then I get a winner. Mostly I try to tell a story and that is why I love the blogging format. Below are a few cools ones that I have shot over the years.

Goblin Valley State Park, Utah
